The recipe was written in 1935 in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, by a family of bartenders who poured it as their house Bloody Mary. It became a local favourite, and it travelled with them — from Wyoming, across the country, and finally to Idaho City, Idaho, where we bought the recipe and the right to make it. Nine decades on, that same “rich-n-sassy” blend is still handcrafted in small batches in Idaho, from eight premium ingredients and nothing else.
